Lovely Couple Courtney & Cotonia Wed at My Home

I received a text message last week from Courtney about getting married in my home.

Texting several photos in order to choose which area might be best for them as I have several rooms suitable for a standing party of up to 10, Courtney asked if I would be available Sunday.

After going over my schedule, we set a time of 5:00. Out shopping for a wedding cake and champagne (which are provided along with complimentary photos to couples) I received a text close to 4:00 from Courtney concerned that they may be late. This happens on occasion and is the main reason I schedule a 3 hour window for weddings. Over booking can cause real problems and I go to great lengths to avoid scheduling conflicts, so I told Courtney not to worry I would have everything ready when they arrived and to calm down everything would work out fine.

At 6 o clock, Courtney let me know that they were at David’s Bridal getting a gown for Cotonia, she did not want to get married in anything informal and I told Courtney no problem- do you need a tiara? Flowers? Ring pillow? They were surprised I had a these things on hand. Preparation for any event has always been my strong point.

They arrived with Courtney’s wonderful mother Annette Shannon with their clothes and were quickly shown to separate dressing rooms as Courtney didn’t want to see Cotonia until meeting after a long walk through my office area in our home with Annette being the ring bearer.

The sweetness and true joy of this couple and many others always touches my heart. Such love and happiness is to be treasured, I had made a bouquet to give to the bride along with a boutonnière for Courtney and Annette.

Thrilled that my home was already decorated for Christmas, Courtney asked me to take several photos, which I was more than happy to do for this lovely couple and send as a gift.

I’m so glad to have had an opportunity to meet this family, and blessed that everyday I meet wonderful, kind and thankful families grateful to have me conduct their ceremony.

After Italian wedding cake and champagne, we went on my balcony and took more photos.

Today, I mailed the couple numerous happy moments in the photos i took for them, looking through I too, smiled when looking at the beautiful smile on Courtney’s face.

All the best to you Courtney and Cotonia Dibbles, and give your mom a hug for me!
