Grooms need to be prepared to address the issues of wedding expenses and who responsibilities with the Bride and parents to clarify who will be paying for what.

Grooms need input when making out the invitation list.

Select your best man right away to ensure he’s available for your big day.

Decide how many ushers are necessary (1 for every 50 guests) then select them.

Check marriage license requirements in your state.

Arrange the visit with your Minister/wedding officiant to discuss your ceremony and elements that are important to you. A professional will encourage you to incorporate personal elements such as handwritten vows, poetry or religious verses into your ceremony.

Discuss your honeymoon plans, if you are going out of the country check your passports, visas, inoculations etc.

Checkout the wedding gift registry with the bride.

Ask questions regarding money matters prior to the marriage.

Complete your portion of the guest list and give it to the bride at least 3 months prior to the wedding date.

You will need to order attire for yourself, best man, ushers, and fathers.

Arrange transportation for the wedding party to the ceremony and reception if they are in different locations.

Order your wedding rings and engraving.

Arrange for boutonnière and bridal bouquet as well as centerpiece a with the bride.

Select gifts for the wedding party.

Arrange lodging for out of town guests and family.

Choose your brides wedding gift- tip: a watch or piece of fine jewelry or family heirloom.

Make sure necessary documents legal, life insurance, medical and religious are in order.

Attend your bachelor party but, don’t overindulge or be captured on film doing anything you wouldn’t want your bride to see.

Double check reservations and hotel for your honeymoon night.

After your wedding, don’t forget thank you cards to the guests- make these personal and heartfelt.
