How and Why I Choose Events For Clients That Are Sponsored  At Low Cost or Bartered..

I get numerous requests to “No Fee” clients all the time with claims of “nothing to trade or, no money to pay for the event.” The problem is that I often discover otherwise, you see there are the occasional clients who assume (mistakenly) that I don’t validate the facts prior to making a commitment of my staff, my time and finally my money since I also provide cake and champagne and, occasionally Cindy Daniel (my twin) and I also provide clothing for the wedding party from our eBay store and, I provide the floral arrangements and decorations.

You see I make the decision after a lengthy interview process and am knowledgeable enough to draw my own conclusions based on key questions that give me insight to a families needs.

I’ve sponsored numerous events over the past few years and the decision is mostly made from my heart and discussed with my sister as to how and what we will provide to make a families “dreams come true.”

Often, a job loss or sudden illness and on two occasions a fire have left the family with very little. Finding help and charitable organizations to get them back on their feet is perhaps my greatest achievement!

Since I always have a few wedding dresses in my inventory and several of my husbands dress shirts, I’m very good at outfitting the family and if they have young children, Cindy normally has a dress or decorative headband to coordinate the children.

The entire team pulls together to find out exactly what type of event is desired and how we can best achieve it and normally, it’s an outdoor event at a local park to save the expense of a pricey venue.

Last summer the Rodriquez Family contacted me and after a short phone conversation, Cindy and I along with our translator, Stephaney Mahaney travelled to their home to get clothing sizes for two daughters and their small son. We decided that the young boy would need a purchased outfit and found one at Ross for a minimal investment. The family told us that photos would be something they would love to have to remember their event and I scheduled Cory Oropenza to join us at the park the following weekend.

Maryssa and Makenna Mahaney our Little Pawners were the flower girls and I created a beautiful bouquet for the Bride who wore one of Stephaney’s long white gowns and the daughters wore Texas Twins Treasures Ebay dresses. Cindy and I purchased a beautiful Italian white cake and lunch for the family who could not believe we would go to all the trouble and expense to give them a lovely wedding after years of saving up to afford the event and being the victims of a fire only to lose everything they had.

My reasons when making all decisions and commitments are simple- I created a business designed to afford everyone and anyone a beautiful and yet affordable event because I realized that no one else would because I had the desire to reach back and help others within my community who struggled to provide for their families and simply could not afford a traditional event or ceremony.

A few days ago my twin, Cindy Daniel, told me she had been contacted by a family who wanted a vow renewal and had a limited budget- I know the family and immediately checked my wedding dress inventory to see if we could fit the Bride who had been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

Luckily, I believe my full length pearl decorated David’s Bridal gown that I had been saving over a year for that special lady us going to be a close to perfect fit! I immediately ended my eBay auction and began steaming the item, after all presentation (for me) is everything!

Going through my numerous boxes of flowers to assemble a gorgeous bouquet, I decided on a combination that should be beautiful in the park that Cindy and I have chosen in Weatherford, Texas.

Checking with the couple regarding food allergies prior to ordering the cake will be my next step and I shall meet with them to discuss Religions or Non Religious preferences for the ceremony that can include a Unity Candle Ceremony, Rose Giving or additional element they may want to add such as hand written vows.

Providing Dream Events is emotional for all parties involved because the event is as important to myself, my sister, the little Pawners and my Texas Twins Team as it is to the couple and only by asking exactly what may be expected or desired can I achieve perfection.

Though the Texas Weather has given us several setbacks this year, my clients all understand that outdoor events must occasionally be rescheduled and work well with us to “get in the line” when unexpected inclement weather throws everyone a curve ball.

I’m hoping the second week of March blesses us with wonderful Spring Weather for this beautiful family and praying that good health and fond memories with friends and loved ones will inspire healing for this family.

As I watch the snow flakes fall in West Fort Worth and my dog, Mr Foxy Wortham search the patio for a mischievous squirrel to rummage my flower boxes, it occurs to me that perhaps I have the greatest job of all, one that can give my clients hope and inspiration to reach back one day and help a stranger themselves.

Creating a business to address the needs of my community will be a legacy that I hope inspires everyone to have a kind heart towards others because after all- no one knows the paths travelled by others, no one knows the burden they may carry and finally, kindness is free and occasionally, so are my services.
