Group Unification Event October 5, 2013 Fort Worth Courthouse

Answering my phone last week, I was surprised and delighted that Tina Harvey an organizer with TCGPWA Tarrant County Gay Pride Week Association had taken the time to contact me about becoming involved by doing a Unification Ceremony on the Courthouse steps prior to the parade.

To me, this was a great honor as well as an opportunity to support my community in a positive light, and I’m thankful to be included.

Having made a donation, i had already planned to march in the parade when filling out my application. I had noticed there was an area to volunteer services.

Of course, I’d love to! Whether it would be preparing floral decorations, helping with photography or Ministerial duties- I would be proud to be a part of this celebration of my friends, my neighbors, and my community.

Being heavily involved in numerous volunteer organizations, i quickly would clear my calendar to ensure my availability during Pride Week 2013.

This year marks the 32nd Annual parade. The Parade begins at 12:00 Saturday October 5, 2013.

My staff from www.texastwinsevents.com will be on hand to assist me in organizing this group event and I have prepared a Unification blessing specifically catered to the love and understanding surrounding the LBGT community.

Any couple is welcome to attend and, if you wish to join our parade entry, please wear Sunday or wedding type attire to march in our group upon signing a release form with the TCGPWA.

Two signatures are required for witnesses of a certificate I have had printed for marking this event, which shouldn’t be a problem. I have included a copy of the document at the bottom of this blog posting.

I’m requesting that interested couples meet at 10:30-11:00 as we have a very short window prior to the beginning of the parade to get organized and oriented.

Invite your families, friends, co workers and neighbors to come out and support the community together with a day of family oriented themed parade in Fort Worth, TX.
